Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Grand Lodge website. Worshipful Tom Sharp will continue to serve the craft as Pro Tem until he or someone else is elected. Good day brothers, Duval Lodge No. 159 F. & A. M. hosted a blood drive on our property Saturday, September 25th from 10am-3pm, and it was an absolute success! The blood bus met their goal with hours to spare in the drive, and the outstanding showing of brothers and their families aided in exceeding their goal. Brothers were barbecuing out front, enjoying fellowship, and bonding with their families on what was a beautiful morning. A representative from the Department of Health arrived, answered many questions, informed all of us on the current events happening in our community, and truly inspired us to continue to be active in assisting their efforts. We are very thankful to everyone who attended, and we really enjoyed seeing the brothers and meeting their families. Thank you all, and we will see you again soon!
Due to a medical procedure that I must have, we are moving the By-Laws discussion and voting to the October 19th meeting as I will not attend the October 5th meeting. Take due notice.

Now at our October 19th Stated Communication, we will be voting on a By-Laws change, one item in particular, (section 3.03) Life Membership as this will not benefit our lodge in the long term and as the Grand Lodge of the state of Florida has a perpetual membership program which will benefit our lodge in the long term. Enclosed is a copy of how it will appear in our by-laws, Please download and bring with you as we will be discussing/voting on this issue come October 19th.

On August 3rd, several brothers accompanied our Worshipful Master to retrieve our Travelling Trowel from Barnett Lodge. The W.M. continues his encouragement for brothers to visit other lodges and grow the presence of fellowship in our F. & A. M. community. The brothers were welcomed with open arms at this all too rare opportunity to visit because Barnett holds their stated communications on the same days as Duval Lodge. Thank you brothers of Barnett Lodge for your hospitality and and continued fellowship!
